How do you resist an entity that is favorable, but also detrimental to your life?
A food that is delicious, but also unhealthy. An activity that is enjoyable, but also unproductive. A fortune that makes one powerful, but also selfish. A talent that is impressive, but also creates undesired arrogance. A love that is beautiful, but also hurtful.
The answer is that you can’t resist these guilty pleasures. Life slowly diminishes as we grow old, we might as well have fun with it.
